Inside the Rimini Fair, during the hospitality and hotel industry-themed exhibition “InOut the Contract Communuty,” organized by the Italian Exhibition Group, an area has been dedicated to showcasing the best of Made in Italy design for the hospitality sector. This is where solutions for welcoming guests are conceived and discussed.

The “Rooms” project, curated by Sabina Antonini and Alessandra Coppa of EN Space network, presents six concepts inspired by the theme of Utopia, each representing different ways of understanding and experiencing transformative tourism. Made a Mano collaborates with architect Lorenzo Guzzini in setting up the “the most luxury room ever,” where their materials take center stage.

Rosario Parrinello (CEO of Made a Mano) explains how architecture becomes a tactile, olfactory, and perceptual experience. In the future, they envision water as the rarest and most precious element on Earth, a real, magical, alchemical element. The true luxury lies in being able to privately enjoy it in a spiritual dimension, surrounded by stone formed by the volcano’s fire and accentuated by the use of light. This represents a return to the origins, to the essence of living, to eliminating the superfluous in order to give meaning to real aspects of life, as opposed to the virtual that has contaminated daily existence.
