PRISME tiles, side tables, and trays are a new collection in limited edition conceived, planned and made by Studiocharlie in cooperation with MADE A MANO
Inspiration comes from brick walls that we often see in the countryside, in the farmsteads, that are built to leave some spaces to let the hay breathe. These walls are simply built, the spaces between the bricks are irregular, the light is filtered inside drawing vibrating textures. In the same way, when PRISME tiles are put together, the wall seems delicately fretworked; some portions made of lava stone from Etna volcano, dark, opaque, alternate with some portions glazed in bright colors, as if the wall were to let the light from the outer landscape come in.
