Studiocharlie was founded in 2002 by Gabriele Rigamonti, Carla Scorda and Vittorio Turla. They received the Honourable Mention in 2004 for the XX Compasso d’Oro ADI with Csuni typeface project. In 2005 they designed Punto Pecora, their first fabric for Lanificio Leo; in 2008 they started collaborating with Boffi, designing 4millimetri table; in 2010 they made their first project for Bonacina 1889, Ala screen, while in 2011 they designed the Conchiglia sideboard for Lema.

Objects have the power to make us feel better or worse, to make our life more complicated or more fulfilled. They can be annoying, invisible or exciting; they can procure well-being or irritation. They are an awkward or reassuring presence. We want to design objects which lower the background noise, surprise by their essential quality and reveal the thought beyond their simplicity.
