The KALURI Series, comes from a trip to Japan, from which it draws the designs of KIMONO traditional Japanese teapots and trays door, virtually the tile in hand-decorated lava stone, with rounded corners and felt supports, to serve the and keep warm cup.
The concept is built around the contrast between tradition and innovation.
The tradition is that which blends Asian and European culture and transforms the ceramic square, handmade, in small works of art decorated.
The KALURI series, including between KOMON AND HEAT, definition of the heat in the Sicilian language, is made with care and manually by experts in Made a Mano.
