WE ARE ALREADY THERE!

2016 summer, the holidays but especially the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, we could not be present. We are already there waiting, our athletes, our samples, which will lay their glasses, their photos, the medals achieved, on us, on our lava stone tables..

All this will take place at CASA ITALIA, inserted in the COSTA BRAVA CLUBE now a point of reference, by those 60 years that saw consolidate Italian presence in Brazil..

The project CASA ITALIA, is the result of Italian foreign economic policy, who see emphasize and take abroad at its best, not just sports or food but also and especially the Italian Design "The Italian Style of Living".

CASA ITALIA for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is the concept “Horizontal” from Beatrice Bertini and expressed through the art project, was edited by Benedetta Acciari, and the interior design by Claudia Pignatale.

The CASA ITALIA project, in Rio in 2016, has the ambitious goal of presenting Italy, the real and genuine, to an international audience through a series of images and iconic objects that have made historically cultural landmark.

“Horizontal" horizontal, in fact, it is ultimately the approach to consider art everything that will happen to CASA ITALIA 2016, without hierarchy: the works, the furnishings, cooking, sports and hospitality, will help to consider visiting the Costa Brava a unique experience.

Artists and partners, to fully represent the excellence of the two countries, keeping the promise virtuous contamination between Italian and Brazilian culture to culture. The result is a contemporary, new and cozy. All appeals to the idea of integration between Italy and Brazil.

We will be present with the Etna Lavastone glazed tables of “ETNASTONE" series we produced exclusively for the artist Emmanuel Babled. Codest project that goes to great lengths in company policies by Rosario Parrinello (Art Director of Made a Mano) or put at disposal of the designer, his art work, knowledge of working the lava stone and of glazing, to create unique products.

The result of his eclectic designer, Emanuel Babled, was the creation of a unique product, which at first sight creates emotions and unique sensations, each piece is unique in its restraint and its history, future products will never be imitable, because the elements and colors can be chosen and matched exponentially.
